Happily Ever After?

I just read an excellent, thought-provoking article by Steve Riddell on his blog. Mr Riddell talks of the Disney cliche "and they lived happily ever after"- but he challenges us with the thought that perhaps the purpose of marriage isn't to make us happy, but holy.

And how true it is! If the purpose of marriage, according to God's word, was to make us happy, then I think it would be perfectly fine to find a new spouse whenever you get tired of your present spouse. However, the Scriptures tell us differently... but, have no fear- I won't ruin it for you, read the article yourself.
